The Bridge

That hole doesn't inspire confidence

Let's state the obvious: this is not my favorite bridge.  Every time I cross, I find myself holding my breath... like that's going to help anything.  There are very large holes, questionable patches of previous holes, rickety boards, and lots of loose nails and welds. 

However, going over this bridge saves me a lot of time.  The fastest alternative adds an hour to our round-trip driving time.

The first time I crossed it was two years ago, and it has been getting worse and worse ever since.  So one day it will no longer be passable, but in the meantime, I'll keep on holding my breath...
