School Run

A lot of kids in Bali live within walking distance of an elementary school.  As you move up into middle school and high school, the trip to school gets farther, more complicated, and more expensive.  This is one of the reasons why many poor families (especially ones in rural villages) choose not to send their kids to middle and high school.

This picture shows one of the ways to keep the cost of transport down :o)  The more kids you can pack into the van, the cheaper the ride is for everyone.
