Most dogs that roam up and down our street would generally fit into the typical, gross, Bali street dog variety. However, about two months ago, the kids noticed a dog that was very different. She was almost clean and seemed eager to interact with humans. The kids gave her a name, Spots, and they started to ask if we could keep her. 
The answer to that was a big negative! However, we started giving her our leftover meat scraps, bones, rice, peppers, cucumbers, etc. As we have learned through living here, hungry dogs will eat just about anything.
As we have gotten more and more attached to Spots, we find ourselves buying flea and tick medicine, being more and more intentional about saving little bits of rice and scraps, and trying to protect her from the other 'mean' dogs.
The funny thing is that several of our neighbors are doing the same thing for Spots. They have given her the name Luna, and they give her food semi-regularly as well. She has become like the neighborhood's dog.
We have been curious to know if Spots is an actual breed of dog or just a mix, so if you have any guesses on what kind of breed Spots is, we would love to hear them.
