Red Eye


Starting tomorrow, and lasting for the next three weeks, very few men in Indonesia will be getting any sleep.  Why you might ask?

It's the reason the German, French, Spanish, and English flags are flying all over our neighborhood.

It's also the second most watched sporting event in the world.  It's not the Olympics, not the Super Bowl...

It's Euro 2012.  The countries that qualified for Euro will square off and the winner will be crowned at the end of June.  The games are televised in Indonesia around 2:00am, and I will be joining with all the other guys in my neighborhood to watch the games in the middle of the night, and then the games will be the topic of conversation the following day.

So join millions of people around the world and  tune into some of the matches...  also accept this as my excuse for delayed email response times and fewer blog posts over the next three weeks.
