We had a fairly big earthquake in Bali today. A decent aftershock hit about 2 hours after the initial quake. Many reports listed the first quake as at least a 6.0 on the Richter scale.
Because many buildings in Bali are not constructed to withstand an earthquake, most people run outside as quickly as possible whenever an earthquake happens. If you play the video at the top of this post, it will give you an idea of what that looks like. Today was no different. I was in a room with about 15-20 other Indonesians, and we all immediately exited the building.
There wasn't too much damage in our city of Denpasar. About 40 people went to the hospital with minor injuries.
