Big Needs

This is a shot from the site of our new water project in Bali.  It's really, really dry there.  This village is in the shadow (and rain shadow) of big Mount Agung.

The heat is very intense as well.  One of the guys we work with said the heat not only came from the sun, but also seemed to radiate off the ground as well.

We plan on piping water into this village from a source that is located about 1.5km away.   We have already finished drilling the well, which has really clean water.  Next phase will be to build holding tanks and install pumps.
