8 Perfect Dogs

We live on the north side of Denpasar, so we have mostly Indonesian restaurants and warungs near our house.  If we really have a craving for something different, i.e. something Western, it is fairly easy to find decent Western food here on Bali.  It only takes about a 20-45 minute drive.  Because of the number of tourists (the numbers are growing every year), there are plenty of restaurants to choose from: Korean, Russian, Malaysian, American, Chinese, Thai, German... there's even a Mexican restaurant.

There is one food item, however, that is impossible to find on this entire island: a decent hotdog.

Which explains why we were so surprised and stoked when our friends brought a pack of Hebrew National Kosher Franks from America!  They taste great when we're in the States, but it somehow just tastes better the longer we're here.
