Kenan and His Class

  Kenan is in his first year of school and doing really well.  He loves sport (PE) and learning his letters.  He also does well at numbers.  He's still working at not being a sore loser (he really doesn't like losing a game of Simon Says).  He also really likes to hang around with his friend Jung Min (she's Korean).

   This is a picture from his class' recent field trip to a bird park.  When asked about his trip, thinking he would say something about birds from the bird park (because it's a bird park), instead he says, "Dad, they have reptiles there!".  The excited tone in which he said this made me suspect that he had no idea what a reptile was... cause he said it in a way someone might say there were flying pigs at the bird park.  Some followup questions revealed that he indeed had no clue what a reptile was.  He was a little disappointed when I explained it to him.  He's a funny kid...
