From Bali with Love: Saraswati

Indonesia has recently gifted the city of Washington DC with a large statue of the Hindu goddess of education and wisdom.

The statue is located just a couple of blocks away from the Indonesian embassy in DC. 

It was constructed here in Bali by five Balinese artists and then flown in sections to the States and assembled.  It is very Balinese in style.
