Torpedo

Based on Jaiden's results at her school's swim meet, she was invited to participate in a bigger swim meet with 8 other schools competing.  The picture on the left is Jaiden with her classmate, Jessica (Jessica is the fastest in the class.  She even beats the boys).

Before I share the results, here's a little background: Jaiden's school is a great school... really nice.  The instruction there is mostly in Indonesian and follows the Indonesian curriculum, with about 2 hours a day of supplemental teaching by native English speakers (Aussies!).  However, these other 8 schools are much more expensive, much more elite, with instruction done almost entirely in English.  So most of the kids at the swim meet had their own private swim instructor.  Jaiden on the other hand... she just likes to swim and probably will never have a private swim coach.

So she finished 6th out of 12 swimmers.  Which is pretty awesome in my book.
