1st Day of School (Assessment)

Kenan will be starting kindergarten in August 2013.  He had to go into school a couple of weeks ago for a one day assessment of his in-class behavior.  He was pretty excited about the whole thing.  He got take a backpack and a snack to school. 

Kenan doesn't speak much Indonesian at this point, however, this didn't stop him from fully participating in the classroom activities (which were mostly in Indonesian).  He got up and sang a song that he didn't know the words to, counted to 10 in Indonesian (he was a little iffy on 6-10), and he raised his hand to answer questions he didn't understand at all.

He gets an A for effort for the time being... and he'll be speaking good Indonesian by this time next year.
