Our neighbor's daughter was having a dance recital several weeks ago, and we were invited to attend. It was actually a test of Balinese dance to see if the girls could progress to the next level of study. Our neighbor's daughter is the one on the right.
There were 13 different groups and each dance lasted about 5-10 minutes. So it was quite a long ceremony. Kaelen was attracting quite a bit of attention, and our neighbor proudly carried her around while showing off the 'bule kid' to her friends.
