Anak ajaib literally means something like 'wonder kid, or miraculous child'. Some people have started calling Kenan this at one of the supermarkets that we regularly visit. The reason is that he seems to always set off the shoplifting alarms. The people at the shop checked his pockets, but nothing was found... They were a bit confused, they passed him through it a couple more times, and then they just said he was an 'anak ajaib' and laughed it off.
He's also been getting lots of attention lately because of his new footwear. They are a bright green pair of rain boots with eyes and a smile. Everywhere we go, people make comments about the 'shoes with eyes'.
