Camera Status: Somewhere in Jakarta

Again, we apologize for the lack of pictures on the blog lately. Much of what has been recently posted was taken by "guest photographers", i.e. Klynt & Dana, Kristi's brother and sister-in-law. Our camera is still being repaired, we hope. It is currently in Jakarta being examined by authorized Canon repair people, we hope.

Indonesia has a very laid back way of doing things, including fixing cameras. So even though we have called several times to check up on the camera's whereabouts and status, we haven't learned much at all. After a while living here, we have learned that fighting the sytem of "laid backed-ness" doesn't get much results. So we will just go with the flow and enjoy this laid back culture.

But hopefully we will get it back sometime before Kenan graduates from college...
