One of the things that Jaiden has enjoyed about living here is all the fun indoor playgrounds. Safety and health standards are not high priorities here, so there are a lot of things available that you would not see in the States.
For instance, the ball pits that were long ago removed in the States due to hygiene concerns are all over the place here. Sometimes we will go out for a family fun night, and Jaiden will have lots of fun playing in them.
However, her fun is over...
The other day, an Indonesian friend was telling Kristi stories about kids that had been bitten by snakes in ball pits in Bali and in Jakarta also. It is apparently not just an isolated incident, but has happened numerous times. That would be a bad way to end family fun night. So, no more ball pits for Jaiden...
p.s. The above photo is not real. There are no sharks in ball pits, at least not that we know of.
