Each banjar (village) makes their own kite, and each banjar's kite has a pattern that matches a flag that is carried out whenever the kite is being flown. Ajus is carrying the flag. His actual name is Pongot, but he likes to be called Ajus. Why is this? Ajus means "handsome, good looking" and he has quite a high opinion of himself... Everyone calls him a cheeky boy.
