Following her sorrows...

I recently attended the memandikan (washing) of a man that passed away here last week. He had sold many things to purchase equipment for shrimp fishing in order to provide for his wife and four small girls. After only his third time out, he drowned about 15 minutes from here. When I attended the memandikan, it is customary to give a gift to the spouse and say, "Ikut berduka". It means following your sorrow...

Maybe something better than a small gift could follow her sorrows. Keep it in mind...
